March Madness has arrived! Just wanted to pass this tidbit of information along...
JMU men's basketball faces William & Mary today at 6pm in the first round of the CAA Tournament. If they win, they will face George Mason at 6pm tomorrow (Saturday). We caught word that Foley's Pub will be showing the game. It's a last-minute informal gathering, but we wanted to give fans a heads up if they were hoping to catch the game with fellow Dukes!

For one of our more polished events of the year, we have reserved the elegant Greene Room at Stout, an impressive establishment just steps from Penn Station and many major subway lines. In this private room you’ll enjoy cocktails amongst friends and fellow alumni while being served an assortment of delectable hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening. Now that the stress of the holidays is over it's time to take a break and enjoy a much-deserved, classy night on the town! JMU Basketball @ Hofstra

Meet up with fellow JMU alumni at 5:15pm in front of Tracks Bar & Grill on the LIRR level of Penn Station. The train to Hempstead departs at 5:38pm, arriving at 6:36pm. The campus-bound complementary Hofstra bus departs from the Hempstead train station two minutes after arrival. (If the train is delayed, the arena is only a 5-minute cab ride away.) Tickets to the game can be purchased at the gate for $10 (reserved) or $15 (premium).

Arrival/Tailgate: 1:30pm - Villanova, PA
Kickoff: 3:30pm
Cost: Bus $30, Game Ticket $20, Duke Club Tailgate (optional) $20
Description
Road trip! Come join area alum in cheering on the Dukes this fall in Villanova. Only 55 spots are available, so sign up now! Please arrive on time to your departure location to ensure we make it time to join President Rose and the Philadelphia area alum at the tailgate. The bus will leave 30 minutes after the game and drop off riders in the same departure locations (Parsiappany > NYC). Alcohol is certainly permitted on the bus; BYOB. Past riders can attest to the rowdy, fun time.

Annual NY Harbor Cruise

It's time once again for our annual NY Harbor Cruise! Last year was a huge success so let's make this year even better! Come spend the night cooling off with great food, open bar, and even more awesome people on your own private ship, The Zephyr. We have reserved CircleLine's premire ship to cruise around the city: The ship will be sailing up the Hudson and East Rivers in Manhattan, going by historic sites such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Colgate Clock.
